He is well known for his many talents, including composing, arranging, publishing, and being an accomplished organist and pianist.

Fred Bock was widely recognized for his imaginative piano and organ arrangements. His Bock’s Best collections continue to be best-sellers, even many years after his passing. The marriage of Jesus Loves Me (with Clair de Lune) was one of his most favorite piano settings. 

About Fred Bock

Over the course of his lifetime, Fred Bock founded several publishing companies, two of the largest being Gentry Publications and the Fred Bock Music Company. In addition, he served as the Minister of Music at Hollywood Presbyterian Church for 16 years, and at the Bel Air Presbyterian Church for 14 years. His work as a studio musician can be heard throughout many movies and television shows, as well as the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland, California. In honor of his legacy, the Fred Bock Lifetime Achievement Award was created to honor the professional excellence that defined Fred Bock and his notable career.
